About Dean

In March 2024, Dean became a new member of the Deerness Fencing and Landscaping team as a Finance Director.

Starting as an apprentice he became AAT qualified in 2001, and now sits as a Fellow Member with the AAT. Continuing his passion for Finance Dean then became CIMA qualified in 2013, and now supports the organisation by becoming a mentor for current students. In addition, he sits on the audit and risk committee at his local college to support the local community.

Dean brings 26 years' worth of experience predominately in the manufacturing sector, of which 12 years was spent in the automotive industry. His knowledge from previous roles includes financial close, budgeting, forecasting, debt management, cashflow projections, root cause analysis, strategic financial support, and audit (internal and external).

Deerness Fencing & Landscaping have worked in Partnership with North Tyneside Council, carrying out planned fencing works for the past 10 years with an average annual value of £1,200,000. We supported the client with budget planning which involved fencing surveys of individual properties.
